Growing Excellence
Hi! I’m Laurel. Inspiration starts with a thought. It starts with an attitude too. It is a complex and God-given ability that enables us to create. I have realized, with a few painful reflections, that there will always be someone better than me. There will always be people who are more motivated. But, that shouldn’t stop us from being our best. With time, our plodding efforts start taking better shape. We improve, we grow, we change. I guess this applies to art, but it also applies to crafting your life. I’m just one of the many who started at ground zero and discovered that maybe I can take a stab at this thing I love to do. I’ve been dabbling for years- from making hand-lettered signs for events, or Scripture art for churches, enormous banners, brochures, or designing literature for places like spas.
